June 6, 2018

As part of a project named “Gathering Youths through Arts” a Summer Art Course with Mr John Paul Muscat (Art Teacher) taking place in the local band club (Għaqda Mużikali Marija Bambina Banda Vittorja Naxxar). This course will be opened for Primary school students that will be in Year 5 & Year 6 (8 to 10 years old) as from the next scholastic year 2018 – 2019. These lessons will primarily help the students to unfold their creativity by looking at Art from a diverse perspective.

The Art Lessons will also be hands-on and structured in such a way that the final artworks conducted by the pupils attending these lessons will then be exhibited on the day of the Final Concert. This is due to the fact that some of the lessons will be devoted to the theme the Final Concert will be based on. The exhibition will take place in the Oratory Hall entrance. The exhibited work will be consisting of 2-D (two-dimensional) and 3-D (three-dimensional) work.
