Level 6+ Course
Take your musicianship to the next level. 🎶
The Level 6+ Course gives students who have completed the Core Course the opportunity to continue developing their instrumental skills at an advanced level.
Through focused individual tuition, students are prepared for Trinity College London practical examinations at Grade 6 and above, while continuing to gain valuable performance experience through the activities of the George Vella School of Music.
🎼 Advanced Individual Tuition
Students receive:
45-minute individual instrumental lessons
Preparation for Trinity College London practical examinations – Grade 6 and above
Opportunities to participate in school activities and performances
The course is designed for students who wish to continue their musical development beyond the Core Course and work towards higher examination grades.
🎶 Performance Opportunities
Students are encouraged to participate in school activities, providing opportunities to perform and develop their confidence and musicianship.
Participation in band and youth band activities and events is an essential part of the Level 6+ programme. Students who do not attend these activities and events may be removed from the Level 6+ classes.
📝 Entry Requirement
The Level 6+ Course is available only to students who have completed the Core Course at the George Vella School of Music.
💶 Fees
Individual lessons cost €15 per lesson, payable directly to the respective tutor in packages of 10 lessons.
The fee covers the individual tuition only and does not include:
Accompanist services
Internal assessments
External examination fees
Students are responsible for arranging and engaging their own accompanist for examinations and other performances.
