Erika Mifsud

Ms. Erika Mifsud serves as the Learning Support Educator (LSE) at the George Vella School of Music, where she supports students during School Band sessions, helping them participate confidently and effectively in the ensemble environment.
A flautist herself, Erika is a member of the Għaqda Mużikali Marija Bambina, Banda Vittorja, Naxxar, and has been actively involved in the musical life of the band for many years. Having herself studied and developed her musical skills through the George Vella School of Music, she brings a valuable perspective as someone who has experienced the School’s musical journey firsthand.
With over 20 years of experience as a local musician, Erika has participated in numerous concerts, performances, and important events organised by the band club. Her experience as both a musician and former student of the School allows her to connect particularly well with young musicians and understand the challenges they may encounter as they develop their skills.
As a qualified Learning Support Educator, Erika combines her educational expertise with her extensive musical experience to provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support to students, contributing to an inclusive and positive learning environment at the George Vella School of Music.
