After two years, the yearly youth band concert has returned in its full glory with a full house in audience. All those present where immersed in an hour-long music journey presented by a great performance from our school upcoming and mature musicians. Throughout the night everyone noticed the advancement in quality of the band and the commitment towards the concert itself. A special mention goes to our featured soloists, Julian Galea (Alto Sax.), Pavel Cuschieri (Clarinet) & Jeanpaul Agius (Trumpet), who showcased their achievement and musicianship. Our guests from Hoi Poloi Musical Academy and our own Alexia Agius gave a thrilling performance of The Prayer and Kemm Hu Sabih, repectively. All in all, it was one of those nights to remember. The concert was directed by the school co-ordinator and wind band’s assistant conductor, Christine Vella.
